Young Polonia Programs

Young Polonia Foundation is maintaining the following programs:

  • PATRIOTIC, ETHIC, AND HEALTH EDUCATION
  • EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
  • PROGRAM FOR PERFECTING THE POLISH LANGUAGE
  • PROGRAM FOR INTEGRATION
  • THE ARTISTIC PROGRAM
  • THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM
  • PROGRAM FOR THE PROMOTION OF STUDENTS FROM THE EAST

The above initiatives have helped thousands of young Poles living abroad master their language skills, promote their artistic talents, and bring together people from over 30 countries of the world through their understanding of Polish culture. The above programs foster tolerance and trigger dialogue among people from different countries, with different worldviews and religious affiliations.

In the POLONIADA competitions, the Young Polonia Foundation promoted the distinguished Poles who devoted their lives to the cause of freedom and the common good of other cultures, like that of Thaddeus Kosciuszko. In the artistic competitions, Young Polonia developed the talents of the youth. In 2004, the Foundation created a Cyprian Norwid Scholarship Fund, the “helping hand,” which collects funds for talented Polonia youth.

In 2009, together with Polonia from Ukraine and Lithuania, YPF undertook a task of organizing international celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Juliusz Slowacki. The event is called TRIADA and is getting international attention.
